The Light Comes Through Them

Hey Brave People!

This is your reminder that in all your creativity, you are not delusional.  We are who we are! We do what we do! We see what we see.  We know whaat we know and there is no turning back now.  

I believe we are living in a time when natural creative tendencies are at their highest.  We have the propensity for imagining and partnering with the universe to make manifest the greatest possibilities.  Everything we do and create takes on meaning.  Everything we set out to create must have meaning or it’s not worth it.  It is one of the most magical unfoldments i’ve witnessed to date.  I can barely step outside and take in nature without writing a poem.  My mother’s voice inspires me to make something of what seems little.  My students come up worth brilliant ideas all the time and little do they know, they stir me up in my creative core.  I cannot hear a news story without contemplating revolutionary theatre art.  Sometimes, I just start taking pictures and I see more of myself and all the possibility inside with joy! I see differently.  Tell the truth, don’t you? 

We are going higher and the former constructs are not stable enough to handle the shift.  We must go higher or we will crumble with them.  Don’t be passive about the Light that comes through you.  Our creativity is fueling more than likes and shares on instagram feeds; it’s guaranteeing us safe passage as we navigate the rocky terrain. Artists -performance, visual, problem solvers, and spoken artists- urge the human race forward.  Don’t knock the incessant downloads of ideas- those little things manifest and help you to lead with a clarity with which only artists can move.

Don’t be passive

Our creativity is fueling more than likes and shares on instagram feeds; it’s guaranteeing us safe passage as we navigate the rocky terrain.

Everything within you begs for intentionality and you know it.  Be that visionary.  Be the content (as I heard in a gentleman’s remarks on social media).  Be here.  Put those quirky ideas in the pile with the ones that give you goosebumps and move on them!  If it’s nonsense coming to you from somewhere else-you know how to dispel it. More likely than not though, it’s not nonsense. It’s a new world asking to be manifested through you. Be brave. Create.
